The Class of 2026 Honor Students will be announced on April 30th at 7:30 am. Those are 8th grade students with a 90 and above average from 3rd through 8th grade in all subject areas. Parents are welcome to attend.

Basketball tryouts will be held for the 2026-2027 school year from 3-5 pm on April 28 for the boys and on April 29 for the girls. Students must have a current physical to try out.

Overton County Schools is adding an extra layer of security to protect your child’s information. Beginning this spring, all FinalForms accounts will use multi factor authentication (MFA). This means that after entering your password, you’ll also enter a quick verification code sent to your email or phone. It’s a simple step that helps keep student data safe. The 2026–2027 FinalForms platform will open on April 15, 2026. Families can begin updating student information, completing annual forms, and signing required documents at that time. Most information will automatically carry over from last year, so the process should be quick and easy. We appreciate your partnership in keeping our schools and student information secure as we prepare for the upcoming school year.

We would like to recognize Mrs. Allison Goolsby as our Faculty/Staff Member of the Month for March. From the classroom teaching ELA to administration, as well as serving as our testing and after-school coordinator, she wears many hats and has devoted over 20 years to the students, faculty and staff at AES! We are so thankful for her and appreciate everything she does as our assistant principal. Thank you for choosing to be a vital member of our team, Mrs. Goolsby! 🖤💛

Save the Date! Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is set for Tuesday, April 7. If you plan to send your child to Allons to Kindergarten, please call the school at 931-823-5921 to make an appointment. Current Kindergarten students will not come to school on this day. Due to a significant increase in student and staff illnesses across the district, our schools will be doing virtual learning for the remainder of the week, Wednesday, March 4 through Friday, March 6.
