Miss Delk’s first graders had some very special guest speakers visit her classroom this week! Two of our AES parents, who work in imaging at Cookeville Regional Medical Center,  to share their expertise with us as we learn all about the human body.

Students got to see real X-rays and explore faux bones while learning how X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs help doctors see what’s happening inside the human body. They were fascinated by the opportunity to connect what they’ve been learning in class to the work of real medical professionals!
